God has clearly ordained parents with the primary and continuous responsibility of educating their children. The mission of Hamilton Creek Learning Center (HCLC) is to function as an extension of the home, supporting the decision of the parents to train their children. (Deut. 6:4-9; Prov. 22:2, Mark 12:28-31; Eph. 6:4)
Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing atmosphere where students are free to develop an understanding of the world, which God has created, and develop an understanding of their personal place and function within that world. HCLC therefore offers a curriculum rooted in a God-centered view of life.
As parents and teachers, our responsibility to the student is to touch the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and psychological areas of their development. As these are inseparable, it is therefore also our responsibility to teach Biblical truth beyond the intellectual level. Truth must be woven throughout and permeate the students' total curriculum. It is apparent, then, that the types of activities we employ or permit in the classroom and/or educational program will facilitate our basic philosophy.

By working interdependently between home, school and place of worship, we at HCLC seek to provide opportunities for knowledge and development in life skills, guiding students in character development and reinforcing consistent values.
Our children: our mission field. We, as parents, teachers and community members, share an awesome responsibility. Biblical education of our children is a divine command and our future depends upon this precept being loyally obeyed in this generation. Reflecting upon Deut. 28:1-68, Dr.J.H.Hertz said that man cannot remain neutral in the presence of duty or of any direct command of God. He either obeys the Divine command and it becomes unto him a blessing; or he defies God, and such command, and it becomes unto him a curse.
